THE GREAT LAND OF ADANSI



The people of Adansi are Ashantis. They are one of the powerful groups in the Ashanti Region.The Adansi enclave is divided into various subdivisions with Fomena being the Traditional Capital.  Prominent towns in the Adansiland are Obuasi, New Edubiase, Akrokeri, Fomena, Dompoase, Fumso, Asokwa, Brofoyeduru (California City of Adansi), Bodwesango and others.

The  level of Education in the Adansiland can never be underestimated. The people of Adansi do not take education for granted.

There are 8  main public Senior High Schools in Adansi. Namely; Fomena T.I Amass, Dompoase SHS, New Edubiase SHS, Asare Bediako SHS, Bodwesango, Obuasi Sec.Tech and Obuasi CKC.
